The MacDonald Island Community Art Gallery presented by Kirschner Family Corporation is pleased to welcome the exhibition A Kaleidoscopic Explosion of Different Worlds to the Suncor Community Leisure Centre in January.
The family New Year’s Eve extravaganza of the year! Head down to MacDonald Island Park on December 31 for a day of fun and excitement! Doors open at noon - the day ends with a balloon drop in the CNOOC Nexen Field House followed by outdoor fireworks at 6:05pm. For full details click here.

The Western Canada Summer Games 2015 Wood Buffalo continues the western Canadian tradition as a multi-sport event to provide development opportunities for amateur athletes and to help them advance their skills in a competitive, but friendly environment.
The Western Canada Summer Games 2015 Wood Buffalo is the largest multi-sport event to be hosted in the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo. With 18 sports, 2015 Wood Buffalo will bring over 2500 athletes to our community from Canada’s four western provinces and three northern territories.
