On December 8, 2020 the Government of Alberta announced new restrictions to slow the spread of COVID-19. These restrictions include the closure of all recreation centres in the province, including aquatic centres and fitness facilities. On January 7, 2021, the Government of Alberta announced the extension of these restrictions until further notice.

In alignment with the extension of restrictions, Anzac Recreation Centre Presented by CNOOC will remain closed to the public.

All memberships have been put on hold until we are able to re-open our facilities. If you have any questions or concerns regarding your Membership, please contact Guest Services by email at [email protected]

Why is the Anzac Recreation Centre closed?

On December 8, the Government of Alberta announced new restrictions to slow the spread of COVID-19. These restrictions include the closure of all recreation centres in the province, including aquatic centres and fitness facilities. On January 8, 2021, the Government of Alberta announced the extension of these restrictions until further notice.

When does the closure begin?

Effective Saturday December 12, the Anzac Recreation Centre Presented by CNOOC is closed to the public.

How long will this closure last?

The closures will be in effect until further notice from the Government of Alberta.

I currently have an active membership, what will happen to it?

All annual, group, and continuous memberships have been put on hold until we are able to re-open our facilities. All monthly facility pass holders will be credited back a prorated amount onto their account for the time missed.

Can I cancel my membership or get a refund?

 If you have any questions or concerns regarding cancelling or receiving a refund please contact Guest Services by email at  [email protected]

Myself or my child are registered for programming; how will we be compensated for this?

 All programs currently affected will receive a prorated credit onto their account for the remaining classes. Refunds can be requested through Guest Services by email at [email protected]

What about my arena facility booking?

At this time all bookings are cancelled. All deposits will be refunded to the main contact’s account. Refunds can be requested through Guest Services by email at  [email protected].
