(Fort McMurray, AB, March 5, 2015) - The countdown clock officially shows 100 days until Northern Kickoff presented by Shell Albian Sands game day on June 13, when the Edmonton Eskimos take on the Saskatchewan Roughriders in the most northern game in CFL history.
The Northern Kickoff presented by Shell takes place in SMS Equipment Stadium at Shell Place and will bring CFL fans from across the western provinces to enjoy this season-opening exhibition game.
“As we celebrate 100 days until game day we are delighted to launch social media applications for fans to participate in the excitement in the days leading up to game day, including contest opportunities to ‘Win Your Way In’ to the game,” said Kelsey Stefanizyn, Northern Kickoff presented by Shell Event Manager and Events Manager of the Regional Recreation Corporation of Wood Buffalo. “To kick off the 100 day countdown, we invite fans to visit the new Northern Kickoff presented by Shell Facebook page and post their craziest fan photo to be entered to win two tickets to the game as well as two Front of Line Access passes, which will allow them to beat the line-ups on June 13 and be among the first ticket holders to enter the stadium.”

Tickets for the June 13 Northern Kickoff presented by Shell can be purchased online at northernkickoff.ca or at Guest Services on the main floor of the Suncor Community Leisure Centre.
Crazy fan photos may be posted to the Northern Kickoff presented by Shell Facebook page beginning immediately. The contest will close at midnight on March 12.
