(Fort McMurray, April 10, 2019) - The Regional Recreation Corporation of Wood Buffalo welcomes Syncrude as the new title partner of Syncrude Mi Summer Camps providing recreation opportunities for children and youth in Anzac and Fort McMurray.

“Summer Camps are an integral part of recreation in the region and we are very excited that Syncrude has committed to support the RRC to provide an unforgettable experience for local youth,” says Graig Walsh, CEO of the RRC. “Each year we are thrilled to welcome campers as they explore both their athletic and creative skills in a fun and structured environment.”

Syncrude Mi Summer Camps are week-long summer break daycamps where kids ages 3-13 explore new skills and build confidence, while making new friends. Activities include sports, interactive games, golf, swimming and more. Thanks to the generous support of Syncrude, 2019 Syncrude Mi Summer Camps are available to the community with reduced registration fees.

“Syncrude is proud to support these camps and pre-school programming for children in Fort McMurray and Anzac,” says Jerry McPherson, Syncrude’s Vice President, Maintenance & Projects. “We are proud to support communities where our employees live and work. Having this kind of quality programming for children helps make this region a great place to live.”

Syncrude Mi Summer Camps will be available at MacDonald Island Park and at the Anzac Recreation Centre presented by CNOOC.
