In alignment with COVID-19 preparedness, the Regional Recreation Corporation of Wood Buffalo (RRC) will be closing all RRC operated facilities to the public effective March 14, 2020. This includes the operation of MacDonald Island Park, the Anzac Recreation Centre, and the Conklin Multiplex.
The Regional Recreation Corporation of Wood Buffalo is pleased to share facility hours of operation throughout the 2019 Holiday Season. Facilities and amenities will operate during regular hours with the exception of the following adjustments.

The Regional Recreation Corporation of Wood Buffalo (RRC), in collaboration with the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo (RMWB), is pleased to announce the line-up of Canada Day celebration events taking place at MacDonald Island Park on June 30 and July 1, 2019. The community is invited to enjoy this two-day celebration. In 2019, the majority of MacDonald Island Park Canada Day activities will be conveniently located at the SMS Equipment Stadium at Shell Place.
